Meet the Staff
Kathy
Treatment Coordinator/Manager
Kathy has been with our team since 1995. Her experience in both the dental and financial fields has been a great asset to our office. She has been involved with dentistry for over 25 years. Kathy was born and raised in Abbotsford, and comes from a family with deep local roots. Her interests include competitive badminton, snowshoeing, and hiking.
Michelle
Treatment Coordinator
Michelle graduated from the Vancouver Community College dental reception program in 1992. She joined our team in 2005, and brings to our office a wealth of experience in both general and specialty practice. Michelle enjoys a busy family life with her husband and two children. Her interests include cartoon sketching, swimming, and hiking.
Sandra
Treatment Coordinator/Certified Dental Assistant
Sandra graduated from the dental assisting program at the University College of the Fraser Valley in 1987. She joined our team in 2002 and serves a dual role as receptionist and surgical assistant. Sandra was born and raised in Abbotsford, and is kept busy with her three children and husband.
Manjit
Certified Dental Assistant/Clinic Coordinator
Manjit graduated from the dental assistant program at the University College of the Fraser Valley in 1993. She has lived in Abbotsford since 1980, and has been the surgical assistant for our team since 1995. She is fluent in both English and Punjabi. Manjit has competed in several triathlons, and enjoys skiing and golfing.
Cecilia
Clinical assistant
Cecilia has been with our team since 2004. She was born and raised in Abbotsford. Another triathlete in our office, she has competed in numerous triathlon events most recently in Abbotsford, Ladner, and at the University of British Columbia. Her interests also include boating and snowshoeing. Cecilia enjoys a busy home life on her dairy farm with her husband.
Elizabeth
Registered Dental Hygienist
Elizabeth has lived in Abbotsford since 1986 and has been with our team since 1996. She brings to our office experience in general, periodontic, and orthodontic practice. Elizabeth started her career in the dental field working as a chairside assistant while still in high school. After graduating in 1975 from the Springfield Technical College Dental Hygiene program in Massachusetts, she certified as a dental therapist in 1976 from the University of Kentucky. She gained much experience working in northern communities. Her interests include ocean kayaking and volunteering in her spare time. Elizabeth co-coordinates the Fraser Valley Dental Hygiene Study Club with our other hygienist, Lee.
Lee
Registered Dental Hygienist
Lee graduated in 1986 from Dalhousie University in Halifax. She gained extensive experience working in various practices on Vancouver Island, and moved to the Fraser Valley in 1989. She has been with our team since 2003. Her free time is devoted to her family and her equestrian interests, which include competitive show jumping. Lee co-coordinates the Fraser Valley Dental Hygiene Study Club with our other hygienist, Elizabeth.
